The Gephardt Group has hired Janice M. O'Connell, Joel Freedman and Catherine Goode. O'Connell, a former senior policy adviser to Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), will be a senior vice president and comes to the firm from Hogan & Hartson and Stonebridge International. Freedman will be a consultant and was involved in the government affairs practice for the Hartford Financial Services Group. As a vice president, Goode, who most recently worked at Quinn Gillespie & Associates, will oversee strategic communications for the firm.
