Jeremy tracks a wide variety of issues facing both Congress and the Administration, including homeland security, transportation and infrastructure, defense, and finance. In addition to conducting advocacy on behalf of clients, he provides timely updates on key legislation, comprehensive reports on congressional hearings, and notices of agency announcements and regulations. To complement his legislative work, Jeremy also provides clients with regular updates on the latest developments in politics, including in-depth analyses of the upcoming presidential and congressional elections. Furthermore, Jeremy monitors GGA’s media outreach plan. He also manages the firm’s Lobbying Disclosure Act compliance.
Prior to his start at Gephardt Government Affairs, Jeremy interned in Governor John Hickenlooper’s Washington D.C. office where he assisted the Office Director. In addition, he provided state advocacy work on homeland security and other public policy issues. His experience includes staffing meetings with the Vice-Chair of the National Governors Association and the Western Governors Association. His congressional experience includes interning for Congressman Jared Polis (CO-02) in both his Washington D.C. and Boulder offices.
Jeremy graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Political Science and a certificate in Peace & Conflict Studies. During his senior year, Jeremy’s project on U.S.-Israel – Iran relations regarding the issue of nuclear proliferation was published and then presented at the Innovation for Complexity Conference sponsored by Columbia University. While at the University of Colorado, Jeremy was selected to participate in the International Studies and Multilateral Diplomacy program hosted by the School for International Training in Geneva, Switzerland.
