Kyle Mulhall and Scott Brenner have joined Gephardt Government Affairs. Mulhall served as a senior policy adviser for former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt, D-Mo., from 1995 to 2003. Before that, he was an attorney with the Transportation Department. He also served on the staff of former Sen. Walter Huddleston, D-Ky., in 1984. Brenner got his start on Capitol Hill as a press secretary for former Rep. Bill McCollum, R-Fla., and also worked for former Rep. Clay Shaw, R-Fla. He was also communications director on the House Ways and Means Committee.
He was chief of external affairs at the Homeland Security Department from 2005 to 2007 and also held posts at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the FAA.
